Hangzhou, China

As the People’s Republic of China continues to modernize, the demand for its residents to learn English is increasing rapidly. There is no better place to take our TEFL training course than China.  Hangzhou is the capital city of Zhejiang province in China.

Famous for its picturesque scenery and rich history, Hangzhou has always been among the top tourism sites in China.  With Hangzhou only being 120 miles or 2 hours away from Shanghai, which is the largest economic and trade centre in the country and a comprehensive industrial base, as well as a famous historical and cultural city, there are many opportunities to use your TESOL certificate.

Course Location

Marco Polo described Hangzhou as the most beautiful city in the world after seeing the printing, paper and porcelain production, and enjoying the elegant society and culture. While no longer the center of a dynasty, Hangzhou is still considered a shining pearl in the southeast.

Hangzhou, with its natural beauty and heritage, is one of China’s most important tourist destinations.  National museums can be found in Hangzhou representing Chinese culture. The National Silk Museum and National Tea Museum along with the others provide a fascinating insight into the history of Chinese traditional products. The West Lake is undoubtedly the most renowned feature of Hangzhou, noted for the scenic beauty that blends naturally with historical and cultural sites.  Needless to say there is something for everyone and a country that is eager to learn, share and grow!
